Knee Deep.

One of my absolute favorite parts of the season change is getting to wear Fall and Winter Clothes. The crisp air just calls for jackets and scarves and all the clothes that are too hot to wear in the summer. While I love the summer months sooo much, I love cold weather clothes so much better! I love layering, big comfy sweaters, fun coats, hats, and especially... Boots! Every summer the boots start showing up.. I can't help but make a mental list of all the different boots I wish I could buy for the Fall and Winter. Boots can complete an entire outfit and finish off a look. Boots can make summery pieces ready for Fall. One of the best thing about boots is that there are so many different types to choose from, and they can switch up a look so easily! Here are some of my favorite types of boots and fabulous girls who wear them so well:

Flat Boots. These are my personal favorite because they are so easy. They can dress up an outfit a little and still be totally comfortable. Minka Kelly and Whitney Port do it just right:

Motorcycle boots. These are great to roughen up a look a little and add some edge. Rachel Bilson and Ashley Tisdale have the laid-back look going on.

This model rocks the motorcycle boots and leather jacket thing perfectly:

Cat Deely is always on trend.. Not to mention I LOVE her coat! It's just the right unexpected mix to have a polished coat with tough boots. Booties. I love these types of boots for dressier versions of my favorite Fall/Winter shoe. I LOVE Olivia Palermo's style and she wears these ankle boots perfectly:
Kim Kardashian dresses up jeans in ankle boots:

I saved my favorite for last... I'm a sucker for anything leopard print! I like to wear it as a neutral with everything! Nicole Richie is wearing these booties from her new footwear line and I want them so badly!

There are lots of variations of boots that are fabulous. I love the over-the-knee boots but have never been daring enough to buy any. I love equestrian looking boots that are very clean and have lots of buckles. Slouchy leather boots have a good bohemian vibe that looks great and super casual. Boots can be a bit pricey but if they are classic they'll last you multiple seasons and they are worth the investment! You can also find really affordable ones and, if worn with confidence, can look just as great as designer pairs.

This girl loves boots! My birthday is right around the corner and I'm thinking that will be a good excuse to buy some new ones :) I hope everyone enjoyed this post about boots as much as I did!

The Beginning.

My name is Tara. And I love fashion. I'm no expert, but I know what I like. I have no schooling in the fashion industry, and I don't claim to to be a style setter, I just enjoy clothes and makeup and hair and all things girly. I drive my husband crazy with the hours I spend online wishing for the things I cannot have. I can't help it! I love shopping. I can't do it as often as I used to now that I am married and I have another person to think about when I get a paycheck. ;) I could spend hours with my nose buried in fashion magazines and I dream of going to a real fashion show one day! That might be a long shot but a girl can dream right?? I am constantly looking to others for fashion inspiration and looking for new ideas of how to put together my own look. I went to hair school and am a licensed cosmetologist, but I absolutely loathe doing hair. I will only do it for those that I love. :) However, my training taught me to have great appreciation for talented hair stylists that create looks I wish for. I love to play with makeup and search for new looks on models. My dream job would be in a Public Relations firm that works closely with the fashion industry. Maybe I will get there someday...

My blog will primarily be about things that catch my eye. I love to share the things I love with others. I see people every day in magazines, online, and on the streets who have such great style and I want to share what I see. I'm a beginner at this blogging business so this could be interesting... patience is a virtue. :)
